Processor Expert
« on: February 19, 2009, 10:01:56 AM »
Hi,
I'm using the neCore12 with the MC9S12NE64 and was wondering if Processor Expert and uTasker have the same header files because I wanted to use Processor Expert to initialize some of my ports?
Thanks

Hi

The header files are not the same and the Processor Expert was not considered when developing the uTasker project for the NE64.

However, if you want to use Processor expert there should be no problem doing that (as long as you don't want to simulate the new parts). You can allow Processor Expert to configure using its own header and then merge the new parts from that header into the NE64 uTasker header (or replace the peripheral block). It shouldn't take more that a few minutes to get this sorted out so it shouldn't be a reason to not use it if you wish.

regards
