  Is it possible to have secure ftp ?

Hi Neil

I don't know details about sftp but assume that it needs to use secure socket layer. This is not supported in the project but I believe that it can be added using OpenSSL (see also http://www.utasker.com/forum/index.php?topic=15.msg328#msg328). It is however a bit RAM hungry.

Generally, if individual devices are not exposed directly to the internet, another method is to use a secure proxy performing the SSL work and allowing all internal devices to use just TCP: http://www.utasker.com/forum/index.php?topic=33.0
