Title: Free 6LowPan stack on CC2530?
Post by: aleksandar on June 09, 2010, 02:31:37 PM
HI,

I am a fourth year student of Electrical Engineering and currently doing my BSc work with the task to implement a 6lowpan stack on TI cc2530.

Whether we can help with the selection of a stack, advice about stack and implementation, or refer me to where I could find information that would have been useful for me?

Thank in advance,

Aleksandar

Hi Aleksandar

Take a look at http://www.utasker.com/forum/index.php?topic=615.msg2667#msg2667
ATMEL has realised something on the SAM7X but I have no info about equivalents on the CC2530.

Regards

Mark

Hi Aleksandar,

The CC2530 is an 8051 derivative chip and there is currently no uTasker port for this chip family, and a port is something that would need a fair bit of work.

If you are not tied to this chip you could always look at the jennic chips http://www.jennic.com/ a number of application notes and a 16 bit chip with a free Eclipse based compiler. Still no uTasker port but lots of source on the Jennic site

Cheers

Martin
