Installing USB virtual driver on Windows 7
« on: October 08, 2010, 10:31:23 AM »
Hi mark,
I can get the USB virtual driver to install and work okay on XP, but it doesnt install on Windows 7. Do you have a seperate .inf file for Windows 7?

Regards
Neil

Hi Neil

I haven't worked with Windows 7 yet and don't have any different driver available.

However I found this: http://www.keil.com/forum/16493/

By adjusting the VID/PID accordingly (check the present . INF content) it may be enough. You can also change the strings so that they show product names etc. when installing but this is not absolutely necessary to get it working.

Tell me if it works.

Regards

Mark
