RTP/RTCP (rfc3550)
« on: April 09, 2008, 02:41:21 PM »
Hi everybody! I wish to implement the RTP/RTCP (rfc3550) on uTasker/ColdFire, to work with video, what do you think about it? Someone tried something like that? What kind of problems may I expect?

regards

Hi

I can't comment on the RTP/RTCP protocol itself but the biggest advantage that the uTasker offers (for any Ethernet/Internet protocol) is its simulator. It will generally allows easier and more efficient development of such projects to be performed in an environment allowing better analysis and testing. There may be details about RTP/RTC which cause certain difficulties but these should be able to be identified very quickly so that a decision can be made as to the best strategy to continue.

Good luck!!

Regards

Mark
