uTasker For Wifi
« on: February 05, 2010, 10:12:58 AM »
Hi

I am not sure if it has been asked already but are there any plans to produce uTasker build for a WiFi solution? We are looking to intergrate WiFi into a number of our products using a chipset instead of modules and running the TCP/IP stack on our host ARM processor where we would like to run uTasker anyway.

Thanks

Hi David

This is a question that has been asked once or twice but there has been no concrete answer.
At the moment it is not known what is required to connect to such a chip-set. In the best case it would involve connecting a WiFi PHY to the MMI bus of the Ethernect controller, looking like a normal Ethernet connection to the processor, but there may be much more involved....

Do you have a reference chip set that can be studied to clear up this point?

Regards
