Hi µTasker users!
I am hard at work preparing the next release for the µTasker, which will initially be available for the M5223X as a Beta version for any one who wants to try it out.
Some new features specific to this device are to do with DMA support for code (mainly uMemcpy()) and the capability of operating some common routines (uMemcmp, uStrcpy, etc.) from SRAM rather than from FLASH. Then there is some low power support which activates a task monitoring the system to switch the processor into sleep mode wherever possible.
I did some first serious testing and created a benchmark document where the results can be found. A UDP echo test was used as test case where the reaction time was monitored and compared for various configurations.
